National Parks

Note: Even though we went to Yellowstone, I don't have any pictures handy. I will probably put them up later.

The only picture I have of Yellowstone right now is of this buffalo. This is not zoomed in. It was about 15 feet from the car. Just after this, 4 buffalo decided to do a little dance in front of all the traffic. It was quite funny.
Here is Mt. Rushmore when we first got there in the early evening.

Here is Helen in front of Rushmore when we came back the next morning.
Also in the same area of South Dakota is the Crazy Horse Monument. When it is finished, it will be the largest statue in the world. It is not a National or State Park though, it it privately funded.

The rest of the pictures are from Badlands National Park in South Dakota. The rock formations have all been formed by erosion.
One of the coolest things about the park was the various colors of the rock.

My mom decided to climb on top of one of the mounds and wave.
This is after my mom came down.

Here is my grandmother (my Dad's parents came with us) waiting for my dad (far left) to finish taking pictures.
Also along with us was my sister's bird, Bruno. (The bird is female by the way.)
